This tour allows you see Parc National des Volcans famous for gorilla tracking (gorilla permit cost US$1500 per gorilla permit), seeing local communities, it takes to Nyungwe, in South West of Rwanda, a huge afro-montane forest. With over 10,000sq.km in size, Nyungwe is thundisputed giant in Central Africa. The natural forest is renowned for its large troops of colobus monkeys, chimpanzees, butterflies and a rich variety of orchids. Over 300 bird species have been recorded.
Visit some cultural sites en route – the Museum in Butare and the palace at Nyanza. Again visiting Akagera National Park for game viewing.
Day 1: Kigali to Parc de Volcanoes
After breakfast you will be picked from your Hotel Kigali and be driven to Ruhengeri. Overnight at Gorilla Nest Hotel/ Kinigi House.
Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Parc de Volcanoes Rwanda
Gorilla tracking in Parc de Volcanoes overnight at Gorilla Next Hotel/Kinigi Guest House or will ovenight in kigali.
Day 3:Drive to Nyungwe
Drive to Nyungwe via Kigali and overnight at Gisakura Guest House.
Day 4: Forest Natural walk
Forest walk in Nyungwe Forest tracking chimps and bird watching Overnight at Gisakura Guest House.
Day 5: Cultural Museum and Genocide cites
After breakfast, visit Butare the Botanical Gardens and a cultural museum genocide site and communities. Proceed to Kigali for lunch and overnight.
Day 6: Akagera
After Breakfast drive to Akegera Game Park After lu After Breakfast drive to Akegera national Park. Check in at d to Akagera Lodge and do sothern circuit game drive and bird watching. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Akagera to Kigali
Morning Game drive and boat ride and transfer to Kigali. End of Gofan Services.
