Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi-Lake Bunyonyi
Day 2: Gorilla tracking & Hiking in the forest.

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi-Lake Bunyonyi
7.30am Transfer by private car from Kampala/Entebbe to Lake Bunyonyi near the Gorilla Sanctuary of Bwindi. Lunch will be en-route in Mbarara at Igongo cultural center. Depending on the arrival time, you may opt for a guided village walk to the hilltop bar to get a panoramic view of the lake and the surrounding hills. Games such as pool table and table tennis as well as board games are available. Depending on the time available you can take a walk further up the hills, along village paths to get the view of the beautiful sunset if the weather allows. Transit Time: 6-7 hours. Day 2: Gorilla tracking & Hiking in the forest.
5 30am: Breakfast.
6 00am: Transfer to the park headquarters for briefing from park ranger guides.
8:00am: Start the gorilla tracking. This may take between 2 hours to 8 hours. Picnic lunch in the forest. Return to Bunyonyi Safaris Resort for overnight. If the weather allows, you will have a campfire dinner by the lakeside. Our local harpist will entertain you to song and traditional harp music. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Day 3: Drive To Kibale National Park
After breakfast, you will then depart from Bunyonyi and head to Kibale Chimp National Park. The park is renowned for being habitat of the largest diversity and numbers of primates in East Africa. The park is comprised of several sections of rainforests which shelter birds, so birding is another possible activity. On arrival in the late afternoon, you will visit the region with crater lakes and later dine and overnight at Primates Lodge Kibale (FB). Transit Time: 4-5 hours
Day 4: Chimp tracking
8.00am start a walk through the jungle of Kibble forest to track the chimpanzees. The park is home to 12 species of primates including chimpanzees; Olive Baboons, Blue Monkeys, Black faced Red Colobus, Black and White Colobus Monkeys; Red Tailed Monkeys; and an incredible array of bird life, including the Great Blue Turaco. In the evening you can take an optional nature walk around the park or relax by the lodge. Meal plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner Overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale (FB)
Day 5: To Kampala Departure
7:30am breakfast and after return to Kampala and proceed to the Airport for your return flight or you are dropped at your overnight accommodation. Meal plan-Breakfast. Transit Time 5-6 Hours
