Day 1: Arrival
Arrive at Entebbe, meet and greet by one of our staff who will transfer you to your overnight accommodation in Kampala. Transit Time: 1 hour
Overnight at Red Chili Hideaway Camp Kampala (B&B)
Day 2: To Mbale Budadiri
7.00am breakfast and after transfer eastern through Jinja and continue to Mbale for lunch after which you will proceed to Budadiri and check at your overnight camp at Wagagai Camp (FB). Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Transit Time: 5-6
DAY 3: To Mude Camp
After an early Breakfast around 7.00 start walking via Sasa River Camp to Mude Campsite for dinner and overnight. (Sasa trail is the fastest way to the main peak of the Elgon, however the first day is particularly tough with a rugged climb of over 5, 249 feet. The distance is about 5 miles and takes average 7 to 8 hours walk. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (Camping tents at Mude Campsite-FB)
DAY 4: Descend to Wagagai-Sipi Falls
From Mude Camp start descending to Wagagayi, walk through the moorland zone and continue down to Bumasora arriving at Wagagayi. Pick by the waiting car and proceed to Sipi falls for Lunch and in the evening hike to the bottom of Sipi Falls. Overnight at Moses Campsite (FB). Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (Camping tents)
Day 5: Sipi to Kidepo National Park
6.30am Breakfast and after transfer northwards via Moroto and Kotido to Kidepo National Park. Lunch will be en-route in Kotido. You will arrive late evening and check in at your lodge. Depending on the time, you may take an evening game drive to the park for unique attractions. Overnight at UWA Bandas (B&B). Meal Plan: Breakfast. Transit Time: 8-9 hours
Day 6: Kidepo-Game Drive
6.30 breakfast and after proceed for the morning game drive to this unique park where you will explore the region of the river Narus valley. Kidepo NP presents one of the most exciting wildlife than any Ugandan parks, with over 80 species of mammals several of which are only found in Kidepo, like cheetah, striped hyena and caracal and over 465 species of birds. In the evening, you can take an optional visit to near Karamajong families where you will explore their culture and their daily activity of cattle keeping. Dinner and overnight at UWA Bandas (B&B). Meal Plan: Breakfast.
Day 7: Kidepo Game Drive:
Depart after breakfast for another game drive in the park and expect to see different attractions from what you saw the previous day that makes this park a must to visit. Return to the camp for lunch and in the evening you will relax by the park. Dinner and overnight at UWA Bandas (B&B). Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 8: Kidepo-Gulu
After breakfast, proceed through the park to the Acholi Land of Gulu which is the center of this region and on arrival, you will check in at Acholi Inn(B&B) for your Dinner and overnight stay. Meal Plan: Breakfast. Transit Time: 4-5 hours
Day 9: Gulu-Murchison Falls NP
Depart early in the morning after breakfast and proceed south wards to Murchison falls NP. Cross into the park through the lowland savanna and you will spend the night nearby the Nile. You may opt for the evening game drive depending on the arrival time or relax by the campsite. Overnight at Red Chili Camp(B&B). Meal Plan: Breakfast. Transit Time: 3-4 hours
Day 10: Murchison Falls National Park-Game Drive-Boat Ride
6.00am: After a quick cup of coffee, take an early morning game drive to view herds of elephant, lion, buffalo, baboon, warthog, leopard, giraffe, and other wildlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast. In the afternoon, enjoy the wildlife, birds and scenery as you take a boat cruise up the river Nile to the bottom of Murchison Falls. Hippos and crocodiles are in plenty, other animals such as elephants and buffaloes will be watering at the water’s edge. Meal Plan: Breakfast. Overnight at Red chili Camp (B&B)
Day 11: Murchison Falls National Park – FORT PORTAL-Lake Nkuruba
Day 12: Lake Nkuruba-Bird watching and Nature walks
8.30 am breakfast and after start a nature walk in the nearby forest reserve where you will see big groups of black and white colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys and watch some of the 100 bird species recorded in the area. Lunch at the camp and in the evening, you may swim in the bilharzia free lake or relax by the campsite as you enjoy the beautiful scenic view of the area and the nearby Rwenzori Mountains. Meal Plan: Breakfast. Overnight at Lake Nkuruba Campsite (B&B)
Day 13: To Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, the best National Park of Uganda with outstanding wildlife. Have a relaxed guided walk at the Mweya Peninsular for the rest of the Evening. Overnight at your hotel. Meal Plan: Breakfast. Transit Time 2-3 Hours. Overnight at Mweya Hostels (B&B)
Day 14: Queen Elizabeth National Park-Game Drive-Boat Ride
6 00am: Depart for an early game drive in the park after a quick cup of coffee. You will see wild animals as they enjoy their nocturnal hunt. Queen Elizabeth National park is home to the big five as well as antelopes, hogs and hyenas among others. Return to the lodge for breakfast.
Day 15: Kyambura Chimp tracking-Ishasha
6.00 am: Breakfast and after depart for Chimp tracking in Kyambura gorge on the edge of the Western Rift Valley. You will spend some time with these primates as they play and feed. After the tracking, you will transfer to Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth where you will take an evening game drive with a high chance of seeing the climbing lions as they rest on the cassia branches. Meal plan: Breakfast. Overnight at Ishasha Ntungwe River Camp (FB)
Day 16: To Buhoma Bwindi
7.30am breakfast, drive through the park on a game drive and proceed to Buhoma through the meandering roads of Kihihi and the tea plantations arriving in time for Lunch at your lodge. In the evening, you may relax for tomorrow’s long day tracking or take an optional walk to the Munyaga community trail. Meal plan: Breakfast. Overnight at Buhoma Community Rest Camp (B&B). Transit Time 2-3 Hours
Day 17: Gorilla Tracking and Hiking in the Forest
7.30am breakfast after which you will walk to the park headquarters for briefing before you start the journey to the jangle. The trek may take 2 to 8 hours and hour with these primates will be enough to keep on your memory. Picnic lunch will be enjoyed en-route after return to your lodge. In the evening, you may visit the community projects in the nearby where you will be entertained with the traditional performance. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and dinner. Overnight at Buhoma Community Rest Camp (B&B).
Day 18: Bwindi – Lake Bunyonyi
8 30am: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi via Ruhija sector of Bwindi. Arrive at BSR on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi to a warm welcome by our local staff. Enjoy the rest of the day with a village walk and a visit to our hilltop bar to play pool table, table tennis or relax as you watch the sunset behind the Muhavura Mountains. If time allows, enjoy time fishing in the lake. A fishing rod is available for hire. Over night at Bunyonyi Safaris Resort (FB) Meal Plan: Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Transit Time 3-4 Hours
Day 19: Canoe Trekking and Bird Watching & Hiking at Lake Bunyonyi
8 30am: Breakfast at the top terrace if weather allows. Here you your enjoy the scenery of the lake as you enjoy fresh fruits and your breakfast. Later, depart for a canoe trek and bird watching on Lake Bunyonyi, cross to the Kyabahinga peninsula. Here, local school children will welcome you with dance and song if the school is in session. At a trading centre above the school, the locals may invite you to a cup of the local brew, “obushera”. A climb on the slopes of Kyabahinga, will be a chance to experience the vegetation, bird life and have a great view of the surroundings. Your guide will brief you on the amazing history of the place. Some of the birds you may see include Handsome Francolin, Dusky Tutle Dove, Alpine Chat etc. At the top of the hill Omugurusi Jeremiah, a traditional healer, and well-known herbalist will reveal a few secrets of the tropical highland flora. After which we shall visit the Africa Explorer Cultural Village some 2300 meters above sea level. Lunch will be with Mrs. Anna and her family where we can enjoy a local meal of beans, sweet & Irish potatoes, ground nuts and dodo (local spinach). Later in the afternoon, after Lunch, we shall take a trip to the local craft making projects.

Day 20: Bunyonyi-Bunagana Congo
7.30am breakfast and after transfer to Congo through Kisoro and Bunagana border, continue to Congo and on arrival, then drive to Bukima, overnight at Bukima campsite (catered tent)
Day 21: Congo Gorilla tracking
Mountain gorillas trekking in Virunga national park, after the trekking, relax at Bukima for enjoyoing a good view(volcanic mountains surroundind the park, the rift valley, the erupting volcano sight and the village walk around Bukima), overnight at Bukima campsite.
Day 22: Congo Hiking
Drive from Bukima to Kibati in the southern part of Virunga national park, Nyiragongo volcano hiking and overnight up the summit under the shelter.
Day 23: Congo Hiking
From the volcano hiking, drive to Goma town; enjoy Goma city tour while seeing the lava and so much more in this tourist city, visit of the pygmy village at Mubambiro, overnight at Shushu Guest house.
Day 24: Congo-Kisoro
Depart for Bunagana boarder from Kibati through different scenic views of Katale, Lake, Rutshuru River. Continue to Kisoro and on arrival, you check in at Golden Monkey Guest house (FB)
Day 25: Kisoro-Lake Mburo National Park
7 30 am: Depart for Lake Mburo National Park. This park is unique, with wooded acacia savanna and a variety of antelopes. Lake Mburo Park is home to 9 lakes. The swamps in the lakes team with rare birds, hippos and crocodiles. Lunch will be in Mbarara at Igongo Cultural Center and after proceed to the park for your overnight stay. Meal plan: Breakfast Overnight at Rwonyo Bandas (B&B). Transit Time 5-6 Hours
Day 26: Lake Mburo Game Drive, Horse Ride and Boat ride
6 00 am: Enjoy an early morning game drive before dawn to see the animals, namely the antelope, topi, buffalos and impala. Return to the lodge for breakfast and after transfer to Mihingo for 2 hour Horse Ride in the Park. Lunch at the Lodge, after which you will enjoy a boat ride with a ranger guide to see a variety of birds. You will also see hippos and crocodiles. The park has hardly any carnivores and is ideal for walking safaris which you can in the evening after a boat ride. Meal Plan: Breakfast. Overnight at Rwonyo Banda(B&B).
Day 27: Lake Mburo- Entebbe
Transfer after breakfast via to Entebbe via Kampala. You will have a stopover at the Equator and the Mpambire drum Makers to shop for some crafts and on arrival you check inn at your hotel. In the evening, you may relax by the hotel or take a walk to the nearby beach. Overnight at Anderita Beach Hotel (B&B). Meal Plan: Breakfast. Transit Time 5-6 Hours
Day 28: Ngamba Island Chimpanze Sanctuary
After breakfast, transfer by motor boat to Ngamba Chimpanzee Sanctuary on Lake Victoria that was set up by Jane Goodall Institute to act as home for orphaned chimpanzees and those rescued from captivity. You will enjoy the brief by the sanctuary guide before you participate in the morning feeding. Lunch will be at the sanctuary and after visit the nearby fishing villages as you return to Entebbe for your overnight stay. Overnight at Anderita Beach Hotel (B&B). Meal Plan: Breakfast.
Day 29: Relaxation-UWEC
For this day, you may relax by the lake side beach the whole day or take an optional visit to the nearby Uganda Wildlife Education Center-Zoo in Entebbe where you will have a highlight on a number of wildlife available in the country. Overnight at Anderita Beach Hotel (B&B). Meal Plan: Breakfast.
Day 30: Entebbe-Departure
Depending on the time for your return flight, you will be transferred to the Airport for return flight. Meal Plan: Breakfast. Transit Time 20 Minutes
