DAY 1 – Fly to Kidepo
DAY 2 – Game Drive, Cultural Visit
DAY 3 – Kampala
DAY 1 – Fly to Kidepo
Fly from Entebbe to Kidepo Air strip. Arrive at Apoka Lodge. After lunch, enjoy panoramic views of the Narus River Valley and photographic opportunities of wildlife from the verandah of the lodge. An evening game drive along the Narus River Valley for game Viewing and photography of Elephants, herds of Buffaloes, Jackals, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Klipspringer and possibly Lions. Dinner and overnight at Apoka Lodge. Meal Plan – Lunch and Dinner.
DAY 2 – Game Drive, Cultural Visit
After an early breakfast, go for morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring. You may see Giraffes, Elephants, Waterbacks, Warthogs, Zebras, hunting dog, Ostrich, Cheetah, etc. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon have a cultural experience that will bring into contact with Karamajong peoples at Karenna or Kapedo. Meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. They will show you the kraals, the grinding stones and many more interesting items. Dinner and overnight at Apoka Safari Lodge. Meal Plan – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
DAY 3 – To Entebbe
Morning visit to the bird hide and enjoy a guided nature walk. After lunch, board your flight back to Entebbe.
Cost will include: Accommodation, meals, park entry fees, ranger guide fees, game drives, domestic flight to Kidepo, bottled mineral water and 4×4 ground transportation in safari vehicle with an English Speaking driver guide.
