Our Story: A Journey Across East Africa
Gofan Safaris began its journey in 2001 in Tanzania, fueled by a passion for showcasing the beauty of East Africa. Over the years, we’ve expanded our reach, establishing offices in Kenya (2006), Uganda (2013), and Rwanda (2015). This regional presence allows us to offer comprehensive and seamless travel experiences across the heart of East Africa. Each of our offices is managed by a team of experienced tourism professionals with over 10 years dedicated to crafting unforgettable adventures.

In Uganda, we are fully licensed by the Ministry of Tourism and the Uganda Tourism Board, and are proud members of the Association of Uganda Tour Operators (AUTO). Similarly, in Kenya, we hold a Category (A) Tour Operator license (REF KEN/019 MIT) and are active members of the Kenya Association of Tour Operators (KATO) and the Tanzania Association of Tour Operators (TATO).
