Bwindi impenetrable is a park located in the south western part of Uganda at the border with Democratic Republic of Congo next to Virunga National Park of the Republic of Rwanda.
The park is on 1285sq miles both low land and montane forests.
It is popularly known for its remaining mountain Gorillas (man’s closest relative) as they are said to share 95% of man’s genes. They feed on roots, leaves, fruits and fern species all from the park’s existing many trees.
The time of travel from Entebbe to Bwindi impenetrable National Park by air is 46 Minutes. The distance from Entebbe to the park by road is 470 km.
ATTRACTIONS AND ACTIVITIES WITH IN THE PARK.
Bwindi Impenetrable National park is gifted by Mother Nature with an impressive list of species that include; 350 bird species, 310 butterflies, 200 trees, 51 reptiles, 88 Moths and 120 mammals including several primates.
This park comprises of over 350 mountain gorillas and it is said to be containing more than half of the world’s gorilla population.
Activities with in the park include; gorilla tracking and habituation, bird watching, butterfly watching, ,game viewing, natural walks in the bakiga and Batwa communities, hiking in the park’s deep montane forests.

Due to the park’s fame of harboring more than half of the world’s total population of Gorillas, among which include 12 habituated groups that are found in the park’s different sectors/ areas that include; Nkuringo, Buhoma, Rushaga and Ruhija.
Your area of stay during your visit to Bwindi Impenetrable National park will be determined by the gorilla group you are meant to track and this can only be known after acquiring a gorilla permit from the Uganda Wildlife Authority offices.

LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
“Whispers of the wild.”
Lake Mburo National Park lies in the south west of Uganda, found en route to the Albertine Rift Valley.it is located 30km by road east of Mbarara ,approximately it is 240km west of Kampala in Kiruhura district. It is the smallest of Uganda’s savannah national parks for it can be covered in one day.

Attractions with in the park include; a wide range bird species that amount to 350,the largest herd of the zebra and impala that Uganda as a destination has to offer, eland, buffalo, oribi, defesa ,water buck, the Ruizi River with 14 lakes and wetlands that support abundant herds of antelope.
Lake Mburo National Park is a home to the Ankole cattle cared for traditionally by the Bahama pastoralists.
Large herds of cattle are seen graze peacefully alongside the wild life.
