RWENZORI MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK.
“The mystical challenge.”
The snowcapped mountain of the moons park lies in the south west Uganda bordering the Democratic Republic of Congo. It goes through the three districts of; Bundibujyo, Kabarole and Kasese.it is 999sq km in size with a length of 120km and width 48km.
This park has its gate way in kasese district that is located 437km west of Uganda’s capital city.
ATTRACTIONS AND ACTIVITIES IN RWENZORI MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK.
The park comprises of the Rwenzori Mountains with Africa’s third highest mountain peak at 5110m. thus the name “mountains of the moon” , it also comprises of some other mountains with several other peaks such as Mt. Baker, Mt. Stanley, Mc Connell’s prong all having minor peaks that include; Weismann’s peak, Alexandra’s peak thus a tourist attraction potential.
For Rwenzori mountains National park is a habitant for 70 mammal species, 217 bird species including the rare (Rwenzori Turaco and Shelley’s crimson wing), 19 Albertine endemics, and the rarest vegetation in the world.

Ruboni; Ruboni Community camp, Turaco view camp and Geo lodges Equator snow.
