This park is found at the floor of semuliki valley covering an area of 219sqkm in buwama Sub County a remote area of Bundibugyo District. And remote side of the Rwenzori mountains.
It is dominated by the easternmost extension of the great ituri forest of the Congo Basin. The park is 465km from Kampala city.
ATTRACTIONS AND ACTIVITIES IN SEMULIKI NATIONAL PARK.
There are several attractions with in the park and these include; the sempaya hot springs, sempaya – Ntandi road, the semuliki River ,the numerous wild life species that include 441 bird species with 216 forest birds,80 Central African Species found in a few and 5 species of primate.
Activities to be carried with in the park include; hiking and Nature walks,
Game drive, bird watching, cultural encounters and Hot springs.
